From February through May 2009, local wedding vendors presented their best options in wedding themes, gowns, flowers and much more for viewers to vote on at woai.com with the weekly winning vendors and their looks shown on “San Antonio Living” by Host Shelly Miles.

As the culmination of the Hotel Valencia Wedding Experience the May 22nd show was dedicated to Bethany and Blake’s special day at Hotel Valencia, including behind the scene wedding day preparations, ceremony and reception highlights (including the first dance, champagne toast and cake cutting), as well as the romantic departure from the hotel. Viewers experienced the best in San Antonio wedding services, trends and fashions when the winning vendors of each viewer-voted category, including themes, gowns, flowers and much more came together to make Bethany and Blake’s wedding a reality. The ceremony took place inside Hotel Valencia’s courtyard in front of a cascading waterfall followed by a cocktail reception on the hotel’s terrace over-looking the River Walk and the reception which took place in the beautifully appointed Verona room.

Approximately 80 guests were in attendance at the wedding, which had an estimated total value of more than $35,000.
