This new and innovative happy hour offers fashion-conscious men the opportunity to check out the latest in men's fashions and accessories while enjoying the finest cognacs, hand-rolled cigars, casino entertainment. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit a non profit organization.

Everyone’s favorite after-work monthly indulgence, Martinis, Manicures & Men's Cuts held on the third Thursday of every month starting from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pamper yourself with a martini and a trim and polish in newly opened Salon Versi Riverwalk, located at 128 E. Houston Street, all for $20. For you guys, you can go for a martini and cut for $20 as well. Your favorite bartenders from Vbar will be on site mixing your martini of choice. Enjoy the latest colorful fashions for Fiesta featuring local boutiques Robertson Blvd. and Nancy's Unique Boutique. "Great Day SA" Producer and Resident Fashionista, Cassandra Lazenby, will be on as emcee.  Indulge in one of our signature martinis and enter for a chance to win fabulous door prizes all for $10. 

A portion of the proceeds will benefit they Rey Feo Scholarship Fund.  Rey Feo LXII Baltazar "Walter" Serna and his Royal Court will be attending March's Fiesta Fashiontini. 

PARTY FOR A CURE

Thursday, April 8th

Gear up for the Susan G Komen San Antonio Race for a Cure and raise additional money to fight breast cancer.  Party for a Cure is free and open to the public.  Silent Auction begins at 5:30pm, the Live Auction begins at 7:00pm. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the San Antonio Affiliate of Susan G Komen for The Cure to aid in the fight to end breast cancer.  In addition, a special group of breast cancer survivors will be honored at the party.

FEATURED ARTIST AT CITRUS - Dr. Jane Appleby

January - March 2010

San Antonio artist, Dr. Jane Appleby, works in the field of medicine as an Internist who also has a passion for art. She believes there is a connection between art and medicine, in the sense that they both require consistency and practice in order to be mastered and also believes that art, like medicine, can offer healing. She specializes in painting and stone sculpture. Her painting plays with color, texture, and different methods of applying paint to canvas while her sculptures act as an interactive, physical, three dimensional journey with stone.

Hotel Valencia will premiere Appleby’s work with a complimentary wine and cheese reception on Thursday January 21, 2010 in the Citrus wine room from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Her work is on display through March 2010.
